TERMS & CONDITIONS – THE ART OF FILM & TV MIXING ONLINE MASTERCLASS

These Terms & Conditions (“Agreement”) govern your purchase and participation in The Art of Film & TV Mixing Online Masterclass (“Masterclass,” “Event,” “Program”), produced by Straight Ahead Sound, Inc., operating under its educational brand Mastering Post-Production Sound (“Company,” “we,” “us,” “our”). By completing your purchase, you agree to the following:
1. All Sales Final – No Refunds
Because this is a live, limited-capacity digital event, all sales are final and non-refundable.
No refunds will be provided for:

inability to attend,
-
schedule conflicts,
-
technical issues on your end,
-
dissatisfaction with the content, or
-
misunderstanding of what is included in your ticket level.
If you are unable to attend live, VIP registrants will still receive replay access as outlined below.
General Admission registrants receive live access only with no replay, regardless of attendance.
2. Replay Access
Replay access is determined by your ticket type:
Replay content may be edited prior to release. Raw recordings will not be provided.
3. Non-Transferable Registration
Your purchase grants one individual license to attend the Masterclass.
You may not:

share your Zoom links,
-
share or distribute replay content,
-
transfer your registration, or
-
allow others to attend under your registration.
Violations may result in immediate removal without refund.
4. Intellectual Property Rights
All content presented during the Masterclass — including audio, video, slides, teaching materials, workflows, demonstrations, strategies, and any downloadable resources — is the property of Straight Ahead Sound, Inc.
You agree not to:

Replay videos may not be downloaded unless explicitly permitted.
5. No Guarantees of Results
This Masterclass is educational and informational only.
Your results depend on your own effort, skill level, decisions, and circumstances.
We do not guarantee:

employment,
-
income,
-
industry opportunities,
-
career advancement,
-
creative success,
-
or any specific outcome.
Any examples of success shared by the instructors or past students are illustrative only.
6. Technical Requirements
You are responsible for ensuring you have:

a stable internet connection,
-
a functioning device capable of running Zoom, and
-
audio settings configured appropriately for listening.
The Company is not responsible for attendee-side technical issues, including connectivity problems, device failure, audio difficulties, or software conflicts.
No refunds will be offered in such cases.
7. VIP Coaching Q&A Disclaimer
VIP ticket holders receive access to a group-format Q&A coaching session immediately following the Masterclass.
This session provides general guidance and does not constitute individualized consulting or an ongoing coaching relationship.
To work with Joel D. Catalan in a 1:1 capacity, a separate coaching program and agreement are required.
8. Event Modifications
We reserve the right to modify or adjust aspects of the Event as needed, including:
Modifications do not warrant a refund.
9. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, you agree that:

participation is voluntary and at your own risk,

the Company is not liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, or consequential damages,
-
you release Straight Ahead Sound, Inc., Mastering Post-Production Sound, and Joel D. Catalan from all claims arising from your participation.
10. Acceptance of Terms
By purchasing access to the Masterclass, you acknowledge that you:

have read and understood this Agreement,

agree to be bound by its terms,
-
understand all sales are final,
-
understand the ticket inclusions for your tier, and
-
acknowledge this Agreement supersedes any prior communication.
These Terms & Conditions apply to all participants, including General Admission and VIP.
